Hey Pooka Family! I was all set to write this blog on my latest revelation of being Taiye’s mommy but my heart kept pulling me towards Trayvon. By now, I expect you all have heard the travesty of justice with Trayvon Martin and his murderer not being in custody. My heart is still aching and my blood pressure continues to boil every day this man is not in custody. I can not fathom the logic of the Sanford police department and public officials not charging this man with anything on the day of the incident. It truly resonates that in this century injustice continues as it did centuries before notwithstanding the progress we have made in other forums.
